Mason's and Ashworth Pottery

Founded by Miles Mason at Lane Delph in Staffordshire around 1802.

1813 Miles and his son Charles patented Ironstone China.

These were colorful and boldly decorated wares.  

1848 Charles Mason Bankrupt

1858 Morley and Ashworth bought the moulds and patterns and continued to produce Mason Type wares
